Quartz countertops are made from crushed quartz bound with resin and pressed into slabs. That gives you a surface with consistent colour and pattern from one end of the kitchen to the other.
Quartz is non-porous, so it does not need sealing. Day to day, a wipe with mild soap and water is all it takes. Use a trivet under hot pots and pans, since high heat can damage the surface.
It comes in plain whites, soft veining and bold veined patterns, so it suits modern and traditional kitchens alike.

Quartz Countertop Questions
Is quartz the same as natural stone?
No. Quartz countertops are made from crushed quartz bound with resin. Granite and marble are cut from natural stone. See our granite countertops if you want natural stone.
Does quartz need sealing?
No. Quartz is non-porous, so it does not need sealing. Clean it with mild soap and water.
Can I put hot pans on quartz?
Use a trivet or hot pad. High heat can damage the surface of quartz.
Can you do a waterfall island or full-height backsplash in quartz?
Yes. We cut waterfall ends and full-height slab backsplashes to match your countertop.
How much do quartz countertops cost?
